Hosting 4 domains - what's the best way???

Postby the_sssneg » Mon May 23, 2011 5:45 pm

Hi,

Looking for a bit of advice. I have 4 domains that I'd like to host.

myemail.com - site I use only for my email and one page of contact info at most.
gallerysite1.com - a place where i display gallery in a wordpress blog.
gallerysite2.com - a place where i display gallery in a wordpress blog.
informationpage.com - another site that only requires one page of information and an embedded video.

At present I am on dataflame.co.uk and have 3 domains on a windows server and the other pointing to a folder. I have to move to a linux server and it is the same price to host 2 doamins, which means I'd need to point another to a folder so it wouldn't be it's own domain would be pointed to a folder on one of the others. I'd like to keep the addresses independent.

Can any recommend what is best for me to do to have my 4 sites hosted at a reasonable cost.

Site 1 - only email and one page of info.
Site 2 - Image Gallery and wordpress blog - images stored on picasa, videos embedded from youtube.
Site 3 - Image Gallery and wordpress blog - images stored on picasa, videos embedded from youtube.
Site 4 - one page of info and one embedded video.

I'd like email forwarding and ability to reply from each domain also.

I currently use my main email domain through google apps for my email.

I feel I don't require much storage or anything really, I just require ability to have a wordpress blog x 2 (so 2 mysql databases or 3 at most) and run each domain independently. If I could have 4 domains hosted on one hosting package?

Any help or tips as to what is best to do its greatly appreciated.

At maximspace.com we offer multiple domain hosting in one account with 1-click WordPress installation. You can also have your mysql databases as we offer MYSQL5 and PHP5 as well. Our charges are very low if you register for Premium account.

Your site looks to be new, price is low and you offer multihosting. It is good. Btw, i think those 3-4 domains will be good for ANY webhosting.
