I have one website and its ranking got down suddenly, i ask to some of my friend they told me it is cause of google penguin updates, i dont know what is penguin update, please help me for the same.

As I know, Googles' Penguin algorithm has to do with back links. The reason might be any back links from sites which were not relevant to yours, or there were coming from spam sites.

Google penguin is a algorithm which was updated for link purpose, still penguin is not updated so i think some fluctuation is happening in the serp due to that your keywords rank went down
