I'm looking for affordable but decent shared hosting for multiple Wordpress sites.
Can anyone recommend a provider and give me some guidance as to what I should look for?
Any information on Profvds.com vps solutions? Are they trustworthy?

You can take hosting anywhere as per your budget, but I would say find such a hosting provider who can manage your server with 24*7 availability because server related issues could be raised anytime. So someone should be always in your network so that he can manage instantly. If you are going with a big organization for hosting, so they have a team for management, and they will take more time to fix issues because they have multiple clients and always time issues with them. Why I'm telling you this thing surely because in past time I used to work with organizations, and now I'm individual.

I have been with GTHost.com cheap vps for eight months now and I do not have one single negative thing to say about them!
I use my full disk space and bandwidth and their servers simply run at blazing speeds.
