Hi, You need to speciffy your question in more details.

Several domains pointing to one major domain is not a problem when its a "301 redirect". But having several domains and identic (duplicate) content for each of these domains i think is no good for SEO.

One website with the multiple domain most of the people do that thing when they have different different websites for each country and there are many companies which are doing same thing. But in these days using a duplicate content on a similar website can affect the website ranking and can also be penalized by the search enigne so if you have a single website then you have tot tell search engine or need to use proper redirects and you can also use alternative which tell Google that use all website according to the search and nearest area.

One site and multiple domain names is bad for SEO. If you want to use multiple domain then don't use domains in bulk take it less, and use 301 redirect. Make sure that content should not be duplicate because it would consider as spam and it is harmful for your site and affects your ranking.

This is practical in theory because through using your hosting account, you can easily create a permanent redirect to your main homepage from other domains and then focus on just one domain. Some big companies that register dozens of domains are already doing this, relying on one of domains for their primary web businesses.

Of course it is not a necessity to do this because maintaining such a network of domains, several addresses all pointing to one single site, might seem a bit difficult to manage in the long term. You can instead work on one of the addresses and properly optimize it, use content and links to improve its traffic and web position.

No, it is not good even its count as a spam content after that Google will penalize you in term of decreasing your ranking or ban your site.
