Top Hosting Forum

Hi everyone — I'm Georgii, the founder of Cloady. I'm posting in the advertising section to introduce our managed app and database hosting platform.

Cloady is for developers who want to run their application and supporting services without maintaining the underlying server. You can deploy from GitHub, a Docker image, uploaded source code, or a ready-made template. The dashboard includes logs, a browser terminal, persistent storage, and custom domains with TLS.

What does the free workspace include?
- 0.5 vCPU
- 1 GB RAM
- 5 GB SSD storage
- 200 GB traffic

Those resources are shared across the workspace, rather than repeated for every service. A small application and a lightweight database can use the same allowance, provided their combined allocation fits. No credit card is required for the free tier; you do need an account and a one-time phone verification before deploying.

For a larger starting point, the Small preset is $5/month for 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 50 GB SSD. You can also adjust resources in the pricing calculator. One billing detail worth checking before resizing: if any resource exceeds the free allowance, the workspace's full allocated resources become billable. The free allowance is not deducted from a paid workspace.

If you're trying it with an existing project, I'd start with a copy of your app and database, check the environment variables and persistent volume paths, and test a backup and restore before moving production traffic. Managed backups are available as a paid option.

Happy to discuss whether a particular stack fits, including cases where you'd be better served by a VPS with root access.
